THE TOWN AND LEISURE…
Magliano Sabina is a small
characteristic medieval town in the province of
Rieti in Lazio, which borders with Umbria.
It may be reached easily thanks to an efficient road,
motorway and rail network. It is situated on a hill
which is 220 m above sea level and from here you have
a delightful view over a vast horizon stretching from
the Tiber Valley and Mount Soratte,
the town and the villages in the area of Viterbo to
the Cimini Mountains, the Umbrian hills, the Sabini
and Tiburtini Mountains.
This is an extremely complex territory, which varies
from season to season during the year. The environment
is typical of the hillside, which favours the cultivation
of vines, which produce wines that have now been
awarded DOC certification. The quality of
the oil with DOP certification is also
worthy of note. The fruit, vegetables and honey from
the area are of excellent quality.
